How to style The Periwinkle Co. bows!

I am currently a campus rep for The Periwinkle Co! The Periwinkle Co. is a line of hair bows and bow ties that are too adorable for words! Their newest collection is pure perfection. My favorite from the collection is this adorable plaid bow. I wear it al the time because it goes great with a lot of my fall pieces. Here are a few ways I like to wear them:

Half up: Pin your hair back with a few bobby pins then stick the bow on top. Its the perfect way to showcase your adorable The Periwinkle Co. bow!
Behind a bun: Another favorite way to wear my Periwinkle Co. bows is to put them behind a bun. Simply put your hair in a donut bun and stick the bow right below it in the back. Its a great way to add a little girly touch to your look.
To the side: Make an adorable bow your side kick! Simply pin back your bangs or hair in the front near your ear then place your bow over it. I love doing this with my seersucker bow for game day. This way you can sport your school colors while looking adorable!

Vickers Bows: The Serena Vanderwoodsen Bow

Sarah Vickers does it again...
I swear Sarah Vickers reads my mind. As you may know Gossip Girl is one of my obsessions. First they created the Blair Waldorf Vickers Bow and now they have one for Serena. Both are equally as cute so I am for sure going to try and get both! This one is super cute with a bright pink bow and a navy band. I could picture this matching a lot of what I wear because lets be honest I wear a lot of pink and navy!

Put a Bow On It

Put a Bow On It
Bows are a simple way to add a little something extra to your outfit. However, some people think bows are just for cheerleaders or for little girls. Wrong! Bows can go with any style. Here are four outfits of how you can fit in bows into your style.

Preppy
First is the preppy girl. Of course she probably owns a wide variety of bows. Pair a fun patterned bow with a puffy vest, denim button down, and colored chinos. A vest is a must have in any preppy girls wardrobe along with a cute bow to finish off your look.

Girly
Next is the girly girl. Pair a fun cropped sweater with a pleated skirt. Pair the look with a pair of heeled booties. This will not only lengthen your legs but it will give you some height. Wear a fun bow with metallic accents to add a little something extra to your look. Don't forget a fun pair of knee socks or tight to complete your look.

Classic
Say your more of a classic girl? Well, find a leather bow to complete your hair due. Wear a simple romper along with your favorite metallic accessories and flats. In this case I chose a rose gold as my favorite metal because lets be honest who doesn't love rose gold?

Edgy
An edgy girl can wear bows too! Pair a simple black bow with a pair of leather overalls and a sweatshirt layered underneath. A spiked necklace will finish off the look. Before you leave be sure to grab a pair of black ankle booties.

A patterned bow is a simple way to add a print into your look.

If you are obsessed with monograms like me, a monogram bow is a super cute way to personalize your look and add a little something extra.

Now that you have the outfit ideas for your bows now how do you wear them? Well, put your hair half up, pull it to the side, or clip it to a bun and you are good to go!

And can we please talk about this tank top from Kiss My Southern Sass?
(I will be purchasing this no worries)

OOTD: Bows and Tiffany Blue

OOTD: Bows and Tiffany Blue
This look is super girly and very simple in my opinion. I wore a Tiffany blue dress paired with thick sweater tights. Sweater tights are a super easy way to wear a dress but stay warm.

Along with it I wore a grey and white bow scarf. The pattern adds a super cute touch to the otherwise simple look. Scarfs are also a great accessory to keep yourself warm. Bundle up!

My accessories include pearl studs, a stack of bangles, and black ballet flats. The flats have a bow detail on the toe which ties into the bow theme of the outfit.

Overall, with this look I wanted to be girly and simple.
