London Calling...... what can I say London was calling my name! I call this look tourist chic. With lots of subtle and not so subtle nods to London and British things this look was the perfect thing to wear for a day in London.
The look centered around this little London scarf I wore around my neck. It had everything London related like double decker buses, Big Ben, and more! With accessories like this you can add a subtle touch of tourist chic, without being over the top. You can find similar neck scarves for places like Paris or even Italy. They are kind of everywhere at the moment, which I am not mad about tbh.
I tied in the other colors from the scarf into the rest of the look. I'm loving this midi gingham skirt! It was so comfortable to wear for our day of running around, but still looked better then jeans. The weather was oddly warm out, like I've never seen a better day in the city. It was gorgeous!! So, the skirt worked out really well to take advantage of the warm weather. I threw on my Barbour lightweight wax jacket as I am normally cold, even though it was a perfect day. The lightweight wax is a great in between jacket when it is nice out, but there is still a little crisp in the air. If ya know what I mean.
