Another day another preppy ensemble. For this gorgeous day in Ames I wore one of my favorite frocks on my clothing rack. This red and blue beauty is from Kate Spade Saturday. I actually snagged this dress at TJMaxx last summer for around $30. It is a great piece that I have dressed up and down many of times.
For warm days on campus I highly suggest throwing on a dress or a skirt and blouse. Wearing yoga pants and sweatshirts is for gloomy days. When the sun is out whip on something cute! It is an instant mood booster.
Also in my ensemble I wore one of my go-to spring quotes from J Crew. It is a bold red color with adorable nautical inspired ties that go up the front of the coat. This great nautical piece is the perfect spring piece to throw on when the mornings are a little chilly.

For accessories, I wore my classic Sperry's along with one of my favorite J Crew statement necklaces. You can never go wrong with a pearl statement piece! Arm party of the day includes KJP pearl bracelet, Vickers Bow bracelet, along with Alex and Ani bangles. To complete the stack I wore my Daniel Wellington watch.
