I may not be a worker in a professional office. But, I know what I would wear if I did. I think mixing up what you wear to work keeps things more interesting. If you wear the same boring thing you are most likely going to feel bland.
In my opinion you can wear color, patterns, and fun pieces to work. You just have to make sure they look sophisticated. So, I created three go-to work outfits you can be inspired by to change up your look.
The first look incorporates a fun pair of patterned pants. Some people may think these are too bold for an office. But I think they are a nice change from boring dress pants. They are still professional without being boring. To tone down the look pair your patterned pants with a classic white button down. Or just a button down that matches the colors in your pants. Wear a long chain necklace and plain pumps for accessories.
Another way to mix up your workwear is COLOR! If you have a favorite color incorporate it into your accessories. Whether it is a fun colored flat or a bold bag you can add a fun bright color without being over the top. To balance out your added touch of color keep your look black and white. A striped skirt and plain collared top is a must have. You can pair these two items with lots of things and colors.
The last outfit takes a different twist on khakis. Pair your khaki pants with a fun silk sleeveless top. Fun details like scallops or trims make your shirt a little more unique. Then throw a blazer over top to keep your arms warm. To mix this look up wear a fun bold statement necklace. If the rest of your look is simple it's totally okay to wear a bold jewelry piece. To complete the look pair it with a fun pair of cheetah flats. Sometimes cheetah can look cheesy so use it with discretion when it comes to the office.
Work wear doesn't have to be boring! Just be sure to mix it up every once and a while to keep things interesting and fresh.
