My Boy Ralph: How to style a Ralph Lauren shirt
Casual:
Earlier in the day I went to grab breakfast with a few friends. I paired my white oxford with a pair of jeggings and brown boots. The look was comfortable but still put together at the same time. Pairing a dressy shirt with leggings or jeans is a good way to make it more casual and good for everyday activities.
A good pair of brown boots is a must in any girls closet! These are my Mom's but I wore them since I was home from school. I had to take advantage of the opportunity.
My accessories included a J Crew necklace which I continued to wear in the dressy look. This necklace basically goes with everything and I find myself wearing it way to much! But, what can I say, it was a great investment piece.
Dressy:
It's quite easy to turn your casual look into a fun night look. In this case I wore this outfit to another Thanksgiving party. I paired the shirt with a gold sequin skirt, knee high socks, and a pair of brown wedge booties. Adding some red tinted lip stain also made the look a little more snazzy.
But, by keeping your shirt, necklace, and earrings the same it makes for an easy transition from day to night. I mean I'm not working in an office or anything but if one needed to change to get cocktails after work this would be a great option.
Added some sparkly bracelets and bangles also makes your look a little more dressy!
