Sew Engaged: Wedding Mood Boards

Hello friends! I'm back with another Wedding Wednesday. Today I am sharing some major wedding inspiration. Since becoming engaged I have been trying to nail down my wedding vision. I find the best way to do this is to create mood boards! I do this through Photoshop but you could also create them on Canva or another free program. As I work through the planning process I find it helpful to pull together my favorite images or pictures from potential venues to see how it can all come together. Most of these images I have gathered from Pinterest. Pair Pinterest pictures with pictures from venues to see if your vibe matches your favorite venues!

I also find it helpful to try multiple venues with your favorite pictures! Just to see what looks good where. This also helped us narrow down a venue. Some of my inspiration just looked better in some venues vs. others. Not to say you can't pick a venue then change your vision, but this is just what worked for me.

In this post you can see three of my earlier mood boards! Now they have kind of evolved as we booked our venue, I am narrowing down on dresses, and I have talked to some floral designers. It is interesting to see how it continues to evolves as I move through the planning process. I have always been stuck on a few key elements like a pink and navy color palette, peonies, and Hayley Paige gowns.

As I work through more planning I will share a final mood board most likely! But wanted to share some early concepts that I came up with. Let me know any additional wedding content you'd like to see below.
XOXO
