I loved shopping the sale while I was in college! It was a way that I could get brand new fall styles before I went off to school and get them on sale. Really, it's a win-win. Normally during college I would stick to the BP section of the area. But, there are a lot of good deals and brands this sale that are outside of the BP section that are worth exploring! In today's post I want to share some items I think would be great essentials for any college girl to pick up during the sale. From shoes, clothing, to dorm or apartment accessories there is a ton of back to school essentials you can pick up from the sale before you head back to campus.
CLOTHING
While I was in school I would also stock up on clothing pieces from the sale. Affordable denim was a huge thing for me during school. I didn't buy my first pair of Paige jeans until I was at least a senior in college. Denim in that $50 and under range is key for a college girls budget! There are a few good denim brands that are on sale during the sale that are a lower price point. Trust me, you do not have to spend $150 on a pair of jeans to get good quality! Another piece I always picked up in the sale was a Patagonia popover. I wore these things alllll the time in college. Again, another easy thing to throw on for class or to hang around your dorm or apartment.
ACCESSORIES
To finish off your N Sale purchases be sure to pick up a few affordable accessories. Some of my favorite brands from this year include Madewell, Baublebar, and Kendra Scott. Most pieces are under $100, if not under $50. All great ways to accessorize your new fall finds!
SHOES
During college I lived in my Adidas sneakers. I've picked up multiple pairs from the sale and they have quite a few cute pairs this year! I'm especially loving this white pair because they are comfy but cute. Plus, they are white so they are super versatile. Sneakers like this are great to pair with leggings and a sweatshirt for class. Vans are also a popular sneaker amongst college students. I think these suede ones would be great to hit the bars with your friends or for football tailgating season. Bonus points if your school colors are red! Then of course you need a pair of Ugg slippers to roam around the dorm or your apartment in.
DORM OR APARTMENT
During the sale in the past I have also picked up those yummy candles from Anthropologie. You know the ones... the ones that smell like literal HEAVEN IN A JAR. Yup, those are on sale. Your girl does not want to spend $50 on a candle. So, be sure to pick one up during the sale. I bought one last year and they sold out so quick, I'm glad I picked it up when I did! I also picked up a fun tassel blanket for my apartment and I love it. I sleep with it and I used to have it in our sitting room as decor. It's super soft and a more affordable blanket option compared to some. But, in case you feeling fancy I also linked some more bougie blankets because who doesn't love a soft blanket?
