What I Wore: Thanksgiving Dinner

It's that time of year again! The holiday season brings lots of stress, food, and time with family. This year we spent Thanksgiving at my Aunt and Uncle's new house which was very excited. I dined on the traditional Thanksgiving favorites. But, I only eat the turkey, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce.

For my look I wanted something causal, at least for me, but fashionable. I paired my go-to piece of the moment, this navy blazer, with a fun plaid shirt I picked up at J Crew during their 40% off sale. To keep things simple I wore a navy skirt, but added an extra pop of color with my maroon tights. I love wearing a colored tight to mix things up from the boring black or navy.

Added touches of gold in my shoes, jacket buttons, and belt make the look seem more festive. Whenever I think of the holidays I think of gold. I also wore my gold square glitter stud earrings from Kate Spade. Other then that my accessories are pretty simple for this look. But, I've been loving my quilted Tory Burch flats for adding a bit of glamour to any fall look.

Where it's from:
Shirt: J Crew
Blazer: Banana Republic
Skirt: Forever 21
Shoes: Tory Burch
Earrings: Kate Spade
Belt: Target
Bracelets: KJP, Alex and Ani
Watch: Michele

Also, did you notice anything different? I cut my hair! I chopped about 5-6 inches off and it feels great. Normally when I'm home for break I make a hair appointment for a much needed change.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! What is your favorite dish of Thanksgiving dinner? Let me know in the comments.
XOXO
Miranda
