Fall fashion is my favorite type of fashion! Although I love my bright colored chino shorts, Lilly dresses, and tank tops I am excited for it to be cold again. Since I've been in London it has been fall weather since August! The weather here is a bit odd, but I can't complain about the low temps besides when it rains! Yuck! But, fall mean thick socks, tights with skirts and dresses, and comfy t-shirts. What are a few of my fall fashion must haves? Well here they are!
My main go-to pieces for fall include Ralph Lauren Polo button downs (score them on sale at Factory Outlet stores!) and J Crew Factory linen skirts. These J Crew skirts are my absolute favorite! I wear them all year round. In the past few months I've acquired a lot more neutral shades like olive and navy that are perfect for pairing with sweaters and cardigans for the fall. Layering is my favorite fall activity and I love pairing a skirt with a button down and a sweater over it.
During the fall I love wearing J Crew socks with boots or with sneakers. I don't know why but I just love their socks! Also, I wear a lot of tights because I usually gravitate towards dresses and skirts during the fall. My favorite place to get tights is either Target or Charming Charlie's as well as Aerie. I've had the best luck with those three places when it comes to quality for a low price!
Accessory wise, I am ALWAYS wearing my brown Michael Kors riding boots I scored from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale a few years ago. These boots are great and are the best investment piece. I also wear my KJP bow bracelets a lot when I'm stacking my arm party. I still wear my Lily and Laura beaded bracelets but not as much because they are a more summery piece.
Two of my other must-haves are on the comfy cozy side. Sometimes it's nice to cuddle up and watch a Halloween movie in a crewneck or tee.
