OOTD: First Christmas party of the season...

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

My family Christmas festivities started last night on Christmas Eve Eve (as some people call it). Of course I wanted a festive ensemble that was not only chic but also comfortable. So, I turned to this simple midi body con dress that I bought a long time ago. I had envisioned this outfit in my head for a while and I'm happy with the way that it turned out! With such a simple dress it gave me the blank space that I needed to add great accessories.

For my accessories I obviously chose my go-to plaid scarf. This scarf is great because it has so many colors in it that it practically matches anything. Then I added one of my favorite statement earrings to a look. I added statement earrings because with the scarf a necklace would have been to much. Adding a bold statement up top balances the whole look. In addition, I added a skinny gold belt to define my waist in the otherwise streamline dress.

For my shoes I wore these adorable Kate Spade heels. I LOVE these heels! Not only are they topped with a bow but they are surprisingly super comfortable. To complete the look I wore red tights from Target.

Where it's from:
Dress: American Eagle
Scarf: Target
Tights: Target
Shoes: Kate Spade
Belt: Aerie
Earrings: Baublebar
Watch: Sperry Topsider
Bracelets: Alex and Ani

What are you doing tonight for Christmas Eve? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I totally NEED that dress! Cute outfit, girl. For Christmas Eve I am going to finish wrapping presents for my family and my boyfriend and then make some hot cocoa...with marshmallows of course!
