OOTD: Casual Pocket

Sometimes I wish I could dress like a boy. I am obsessed with the idea of bow ties, suspenders, comfy pocket tees, and khakis. So, for this look I channeled my inner tom-boy and wore a boys tee. This tee is one of the most comfortable things I own. Its a simple plain white long sleeve with a heather grey pocket.

To compliment the preppy boy-ish style I wore a pair of industrial pants. They are kind of edgy for me but I love them! The pants have a lot of zipper and seam details which make them super unique. Also, I wore my favorite pair of short boots. I wear these boots at least 3 times a week. They are my addiction. I snagged them at the Nordstrom anniversary sale and I am literally in love! Not only do these boots look great with pants but I love pairing them with skirts and dresses.

To complete the look I layered two of my favorite J Crew necklaces. I love the result of these two pieces combine. One is more sparkly and one has more gold elements so they perfectly balance each other. Also I wore my typical Alex and Ani bangles as well as a watch.

TBT: Red, White, Blue

A while back I wore this fabulous ensemble. I am kind of in love actually. I snagged this skirt from my roommate because she had never worn it. However, I think it fits into my personal style perfectly. Red, white, and blue are my favorite color combination because they are very classic. This look kind of reminds me of classic Tommy Hilfiger with the red, white, and blue.

I love adding nautical touches to my outfits. No matter what the season an anchor is always appropriate.

I paired a simple denim button down with the red, white, blue printed skirt. Also I wore a fun pair of nautical loafers to complete the look. Then I completed the look with a bold pearl statement necklace. Overall this look is super preppy, feminine, and girly.

OOTD: Tulle and Tees

Tu Tu Cute

For this fall look I mixed a casual piece with a more dressy piece. I combined this fun tulle dress with a classic v-neck tee. By tying the t-shirt and layering it over the dress it gave the look added texture and layers. The color combination of maroon, navy, and white really works well for a warm fall day.

I wore a variety of bangles, bracelets, and my watch to add sparkle and more interest to the look. Alex and Ani bangles are my go-to bracelet because they are so easy to throw on and layer with other pieces.

I layered these two delicate necklaces for a more simple accessorized look. I'm basically obsessed with my Twitter plate necklace I got off of Marley Lilly. Its the perfect piece for everyday.
