New York Outfits of the Weekend

New York Outfits of the Weekend:

Day 1:

The first day was the day we arrived in New York. So I changed from my plane clothes into something more chic for a night out in the city. Basically all we did was walk around, eat some dinner, and shop.

I paired this denim button down with a chic blazer to add a extra level of "I'm in New York and I want to be chic". Then I wore a striped skirt with black tights. I added a pop of color with bright blue oxfords. Adding an edgy statement necklace added a little element of surprise to the otherwise girly look.

This was the outfit I wore on the plane. We wanted to take typical sorority girl poses in Time Square so we wore our letters and had a mini photo shoot.

Day 2:

The first day of classes rolled around and of course I need the perfect outfit. I wanted something that reflected my personal style so I went the girly preppy route.

I paired a peter pan collar button down underneath a maroon peplum top. For bottoms I wore a textured pair of high waisted shorts with grey tights with black polka dots.

The accessories included a layering of statement necklaces, a gold skinny belt, a pair of bow earrings and a bow ring, and a stack of bangles.

For an extra touch of color I wore a dark maroon lipstick to match my peplum top. Overall the look was cute and chic and it defiantly represents my style of the moment.

That night I changed for the Topshop party. I simply wore a dress, blazer, and tights. The look was edgy but girly at the same time. Again, I wanted to look chic and sophisticated and my black blazer was a leading role in my classy style of the weekend. {Let's be honest a black blazer can fix almost anything.}

Day 3:

The last and final day I wore a bold pair of floral tuxedo style pants. I paired the look with a peplum top with a bow detail in the back. On my feet I wore my trusty black ballet flats and on my neck I wore a black and rhinestone statement necklace.
